Title: Recruiter Supervisor: HR Manager Department: Human Resources FLSA Status: Professional Non-Exempt Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-4p *special events as needed *IN PERSON Salary: $23.87hr - $25.46hr Job Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for interviewing, recruiting, and hiring external candidates for positions within the Agency. The Recruiter also works with other Recruitment Team members to ensure the recruitment process is efficient and helpful for all internal and external candidates. Duties and Responsibilities: E-1: Participates in all areas of recruitment, including but not limited to: Interviews and schedules follow-up interviews with managers. Maintains contact with interested applicants and ensures follow-up until the offer and acceptance or rejection processes are completed, including checking references. Meets with applicants to complete required onboarding paperwork. E-2: Assists the HR Manager with special projects as assigned. Coordinates with the Recruitment Team to complete a cohesive Monthly Report. Assists in any other special projects, defined as tasks that need to be completed with dedication and comprehensive accuracy, e.g., revision and audit of position descriptions. E-3: Processes internal transfers – sets up interviews, offers salary, sends out new job descriptions, tracks, etc. E-4: Processes per diem applications – confirms eligibility, schedules interviews, communicates effective dates, confirms requirements, sends new job descriptions, tracks, etc. E-5: Participates in bi-weekly recruitment, HR staff, and 1:1 meetings with the HR Manager; makes recommendations to the team on ways to improve recruitment efforts; attends monthly Kinexion affiliate recruitment meetings; takes notes and completes minutes on a rotating basis. E-6: Responsible for weekly job postings, tracking open positions, and updating the website. Updates the Residential List quarterly and distributes it. Assists with updating the Organizational Chart for IGHL and Angela’s House. Acts in a support role to HR management as needed. Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Provides Front Desk coverage as needed. Attends job fairs and events, which may include evenings and weekends. Follows up with new hires at Orientation for anything still pending (PPDs, etc.), prepares ID cards for new hires and employees who have lost their ID cards. Audits work quarterly to ensure accuracy and meets with supervisors to review audits. Monitors Alien/Work Authorization status of internal employees. Completes letters for employees who need to verify employment and salary. All other duties as assigned. Position Requirements and Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Two years of Human Resource experience Valid NYS driver’s license Must be able to lift 50 lbs Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Facebook/Instagram, Internet Explorer preferred) Ability to multitask, handle a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of confidentiality Enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills The Recruiter upholds IGHL’s mission, emulates the values, and commits to the vision.
